OVMA has made a donation of $18,646 to The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine for student scholarships. The funds were raised as part of the Association’s 5 for 5 for the Future program, which dedicates $5 from every Midwest Veterinary Conference registration to a special fund.
The program was implemented in 2012 and was renewed in 2017 after the initial five-year period ended. With this year’s fundraiser, the amount OVMA has donated to veterinary and technician student scholarships as part of this initiative now totals $131,391.
