OAHF golf outing pulls in more than $9,000

Blue skies and mild temperatures again favored the OAHF Fore Animals Classic, held on Sept. 20 at Bent Tree Golf Club in Sunbury. Sixty golfers teed it up to raise funds for the Foundation’s animal care efforts, pulling in just under $9,500.

Winning the event was the team of Idexx-sponsored team of Chris Boze, Tom Tharp, Matt Barker and Bill Barker. Finishing a close second were the Animal Care Hospital of Reynoldsburg foursome of Joel Melin, Dick Biggs, Rick Rosemier and Mike Kahl. Individual contest winners included Jason Johnston and Doug Graham (closest to the pin), Jason McFadden (longest putt), Justin Evans and Lauren Carter (longest drive). Fifty-fifty raffle winner Mike Kahl generously donated his winning ticket back to the Foundation.
