Shelter animal professionals can now download the 2012 Shelter Animal Medicine & Care program for the Midwest Veterinary Conference in February. The program contains information on the 2012 Shelter Animal Track, as well as suggested sessions that may be helpful for those working in the sheltering community.
This program also includes instructions and an application for this year’s Shelter Animal scholarship program, which awards a limited number of full Conference registrations, including a stipend for additional related expenses, to shelters in and out of Ohio. New in 2012, the OVMA will also be awarding several partial scholarships for shelter veterinarians to attend a spay/neuter hands-on lab, to be held on Monday, Feb. 27.
