Emerging From Crisis: Finding the New “Normal”

COVID-19 SURVIVAL SERIES, PART VI: EMERGING FROM CRISIS See All Episodes »

One month has passed since veterinary practices in Ohio were permitted to resume full-service operations—but that doesn’t mean everything has gone back to status quo. Still alive and well, coronavirus and controlling its spread is still a major concern across the globe, one that will affect daily life in the coming months. As we venture into this new “normal,” how has the landscape changed in the veterinary profession?

In this episode, the final installment in our COVID-19 Survival Series, Mia talks to mixed-animal practitioner Dr. Ed Biggie of Feeder Creek Veterinary Services in Millersport. He talks about how his practice fared during the state’s stay-at-home order, explains what the clinic’s new “normal” looks like, and shares his plans for safeguarding its future in the wake of the pandemic.

In part two, we continue our Meet the Board segment with 2022-2023 OVMA President, Dr. Barbara Musolf.
