For more than 100 years, the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association has served its membership and the public at large by promoting the ideals of veterinary medicine, fostering relationships among veterinarians and their communities, and increasing awareness of issues surrounding veterinary medicine.

As an organization, OVMA is committed to professional continuing education, and as such, is a recognized provider of professional continuing education. The OVMA hosts the Midwest Veterinary Conference, one of the largest veterinary conferences in North America, which provides exceptional learning opportunities to thousands of veterinarians, hospital staff, technicians, animal welfare professionals, students, and others each year.
